Bronze On-line Quality Improvement Training

Share

The Improvement Academy was asked by our stakeholder Advisory Group to develop introductory level training for Quality Improvement suitable for staff in any health and care role in Yorkshire and Humber.

Working closely with our stakeholders and also with Public Health Wales, the Improvement Academy developed on-line Bronze Quality Improvement training.

Impact

  • Since our launch in March 2016 we have seen an increase in the number of people who have completed the Bronze entry level training, this is continuing to grow steadily.
  • In March 2016 the Bronze Quality Improvement Training page on our website saw the highest volume of hits across the site, demonstrating the raised awareness and uptake of the training.
  • People completing Bronze training are coming forward to take the Silver and Gold level Quality Improvement Training
  • There has been interest in Bronze training from organisations outside Yorkshire and Humber

The Future

The development of Bronze Quality Improvement Training will continue to be overseen by our regional stakeholder group for Quality Improvement Training. Further developments may include access to Bronze online training through the NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR)
